2017 Rabble Zinfandel 750mL

$26.99
The Rabble labels are renditions of historical wood block prints from the Nuremberg Chronicle (late 1400’s), textured and tactile, depicting nature’s wrath. Nature is ruthless when it goes ignored. This label illustrates the Tempest touching down on Rome.
Tasting Notes

Vibrant notes of boysenberry, violet and sweet cake batter lift from the glass. The palate bursts with flavors of raspberry jam, cocoa and a hint of black pepper. Youthful acidity and chalky minerality are the backbone of this wine, while sweet oak tannins round out the finish.

Tasting Notes

Hand selected from the very best Zinfandel from our Mossfire Vineyard. 100% Rockpile clone delivers a lively and juicy example of Zinfandel without crossing the “overripe” line. Picked relatively early and aged 15 months in 30% New French barrels and 15% New American barrels. Aromatics of concentrated boysenberry and milk chocolate drives the nose and flavors of brambly red raspberry compliment the broad tannins and sweetness from the oak.
