2018 Rabble Chardonnay 750mL

$26.99
These are our single varietal wines; uncorrupted and pure. The Rabble labels are renditions of historical wood block prints from the Nuremberg Chronicle (late 1400’s), textured and tactile, depicting nature’s wrath. Nature is ruthless when it goes ignored. This label illustrates the Kraken attacking Dubrovnik.
Tasting Notes

Aromatically the 2018 Rabble is driven with crushed pineapple, white peach, pear, and hazelnut notes. The 2018 vintage is characterized by being a drought year, which we believe highlights the minerality in this wine. Wines from these years typically exhibit an interesting saline component “underneath” the fruit. On the palate our 2018 Rabble Chardonnay has luscious mouthfeel with bright acidity. The flavor profile begins with citrus, pear and transitions to a tropical laden finish driven with pineapple and guava.

2015 Amor Fati Chardonnay 750mL

$54.99
Amor Fati translates in Latin to “the love of one’s fate.” Labels are sketch renditions of William Blake’s 1793 work “The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell.” Look deep into the symmetrical label to find confluence and transformation, shown by the bird flying through the air and the woman’s metamorphosis to the mythical mermaid. Drink more to see more.
Tasting Notes

Ripe notes of pineapple, red apple and meyer lemon are enhanced with toasty oak, vanilla bean, marzipan, and peach. The palate opens with a fantastically weighty mouthfeel with rich flavors of pineapple juice, apple peel and blanched almonds with a creamy complexity balanced with a lemon pith-like structure. The finish streamlines with zesty acidity, giving this rich wine a clean and refreshing finish. Smuggle this bottle into a movie theater for that Rom-Com to pair with a bucket of popcorn. Or better yet, drink two bottles, watch the Notebook, and have a good cry.
